Yes, I got rtl8188eus work on Lubuntu and Android also. Any idea why it has Wlan0 and Wlan1 with the same mac address?

@lukish, @on4top, try the new kernel

Thank you loboris for your detailed in depth support of the O Pi boards! Help please. After finaly installing giant heatsink and fan I am again playing with my Orange Pi Plus. It had Lubuntu running from June but none of the emmc or gpio features etc. that you have enabled work with it.
I downloaded the latest Debian xfce image. How can I slow down the boot images so I can ask for help in an educated manner? Boot flashes past in a blur, screen goes blank, then command prompt asks for login and password. Another screen blurrs past and asks for login again...and again... Blurry video looks like GNU Linux statements and warning no warranty then "warning: setlocale: LC_ALL: cannot change locale (en_us blurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry" then login line again.

Blurry video of boot messages looks like ...
Failed to start Create list of required static device nodes for current kernel.
????ystemctl status kmod-static-modes.service' for detail.
Failed to start Load Kernel Modules.
then some loaded stuff then some failed stuff...

I've tried 3 images. I'm doing something wrong...but what?

Thank you again.
Darren.

hello, i have a few questions and issues.

  • new archive contains u-boot_OPI-(2|PC|PLUS).fex, but scripts are use only u-boot_OPI(|-emmc).fex. whether to use the new * .fex files? or you update your build scripts?
  • archive contains duplicate folders firmware and lib/firmware.
  • сan you make an archive with clean the kernel source (without tonns of *.o and *.tmp.img)?
  • сurrent script exits with an error from perl if
    1. ONLY_BASE="yes"
    2. #...
    3. #LANGUAGE="en"
    4. #LANG="en_US.UTF-8"
As a consequence, the resulting image has no running SSH.

hello, i have a few questions and issues.

only the script.bin.* and uImage_* files need to be copied
thanks for noticing duplicate firmware directory, only the one in lib directory has to be used
I think the kernel sources archive kernel_3.4.9.tar.xz is clean
I don't understand your comment about "сurrent script" ...
