No. I had a long discussion with mosterta (the one who works on completely open source Kodi for A20). He is more knowledgeable than me about rendering and suggested to move to Kodi Krypton, which is currently in alpha1 state. My approaches would probably work, but A/V synchronization might not be the best. I will first try to implement everything on Armbian, because it is much easier than uploading update file 25x per day. I will also switch to open source Cedrus library, which mean only mpeg1/2/4, h264 and h265 codec, but those are most used anyway. However, this will progress slowly, because I don't have much free time currently to work on that. In the mean time, I will update features as cec, because that is mostly just copying few patches from github.

test 1:
i get cec working on opipc and everything ok.. switch to other input on receiver... watch tv.. switch back to opipc... cec working - pass

test 2:
i get cec working browse on opipc... power off tv and power off receiver... power on receiver, power on tv... wait 1-2seconds... cec works on opipc - pass

test 3:
i get cec working play stream on opipc... switch to tv input.. power off tv and power off receiver.. power on receiver, power on tv,.. tv is on screen with sound, switch to opipc.. after 1-2sec cec working again - pass

i guess it works as i want it to be .. i will get rid of the ir remote .. thank you

Hi,

opiplus and LGTV

Reboot - sometimes hangs in screen - it disply something and going reboot
Switch on tv works
switch off tv does not work when I shut down openelec
Power button in opiplus does not switch on openelec

CEC works even switch of and switch on TV, no switching to english international skin

no sleep option in end menu

when I try to use diagnostic CEC hangs or stop for fiew seconds and is no operational - sometimes come back and sometimes permamently hangs. Skin AEON

shutdown and power button doesn't work because actually they are both just suspend/resume. It seems that some notifications are missing for that. What do you mean by "end menu"? Can you try to test everything with default skin? I really don't have time to support others skins (someone already reported troubles with non default skin, like not be able to play videos)

Although I have only monitor without CEC, I can see Kodi libcec messages. Suspend/resume works as expected. Do you have by any chance something plugged in USB? That is the problem with OPi2, OPiPlus and any board which uses USB hub. If you have something plugged in, suspend/resume won't work.

I plugged ntfs formatted external hdd and I noticed I can't copy anything to it. Why ntfs is read only? Isn't nfs-3g integrated already? This is a shame...
