Correction to my previous post....this driver DOES compile, but has limited tuner support: https:// ...

My dvb stick has rt820t tuner and with "my" sourcess they work(digital TV) on my android tablet - kernel 3.0.31.
I saw RTL2832 drivers version 3.0.0, but no service for rt820t(d) tuners.
You can try with "my" compilation version 2.2.2.

@loboris

Is there any particular reason that you haven't enabled MD (multiple device) and RAID support in your kernel? Do you plan to enable it in your next 'release'?

Cool. Looking forward to your new delivery.

BTW, have you tried to update locale on your Ubuntu_trusty_mini? It seems that it doesn't work on my side.

  1. clu@OrangePI:~$ export LC_CTYPE=zh_CN.UTF-8
  2. clu@OrangePI:~$ locale
  3. LANG=en_US.UTF-8
  4. LANGUAGE=
  5. LC_CTYPE="en_US.UTF-8"
  6. LC_NUMERIC="en_US.UTF-8"
  7. LC_TIME="en_US.UTF-8"
  8. LC_COLLATE="en_US.UTF-8"
  9. LC_MONETARY="en_US.UTF-8"
  10. LC_MESSAGES="en_US.UTF-8"
  11. LC_PAPER="en_US.UTF-8"
  12. LC_NAME="en_US.UTF-8"
  13. LC_ADDRESS="en_US.UTF-8"
  14. LC_TELEPHONE="en_US.UTF-8"
  15. LC_MEASUREMENT="en_US.UTF-8"
  16. LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_US.UTF-8"

@loboris What is the situation with the support of f2fs?

Sorry, perhaps incorrectly asked a question ... will support f2fs or how you can make f2fs support in the kernel?
Thank you for your hard work, wonderful images.

This driver is for dvb TV. Driver for SDR is "rtl-sdr". I have compiled last version from sourcess succefully but they not working properly. May be needed correction in sourcess for usb buffer?

Do these distributions support the on board Wifi on the OPi plus? If so how does one enable it?

They are supposed to work with OPiPlus onboard WiFi. Some do, some don't...Without any linux skills, these Loboris images from his mega site work with onboard WiFi on Plus for me...
Ubuntu Wily. With or without Mate desktop.
Kali with xfce.
I think OpenSuse also...

I run this as soon as it boots from terminal,
"sudo nmcli -a d wifi connect" (sorry can't find my notes right now, memory failing... might be "sudo nmcli -a d connect wifi")

as long as it works, then I do the fs_resize, reboot, install...update....etc.

Hope it helps.
