Hi everyone,
I installed openelec with my opi pc and trsted the passthrough. It works good. I was able to passthrough ac3(dolby 5.1) and dts 5.1 audio files and decoded them using external decoder of my own. Everything works good. I used usb to spdif board. Have to select both passthrough output as well as audio output as same usb device.
I tried to change the format while playing and except one mode all works good.
Dts to ac3 - No problem
Ac3 to dts - No problem
Mp3 to dts - no problem
Mp3 to ac3 - its not detecting properly sometimes which gives white noise kind problem..
But if i press the select button to make the file start playing from the beginning then it reverts to proper playback.
Except this it works. As of now i wanted to make ìt play the Dolby and DTS 5.1 files properly and it is doing the job.
