Funny thing is, reading threads like this always reminds me how differently people treat their digital side projects. Some folks love to over-engineer everything from day one, others stick to the simplest possible setup for years and somehow it’s totally fine. In the end it usually comes down to how much time and energy you actually want to invest in polishing the tech, versus just keeping things running well enough while you focus on content, marketing, or something completely outside of the technical stack.
