Orange PI Zero won't get past loading

Hello,
I've purchased 2 Orange PI Zero boards.  I've attempted to boot multiple Linux distros on both boards.
The boards are being monitored with thier serial ports with Putty. I have a cable to Ethernet as well (not working)
The listing below is what I see with both boards trying to boot the same O/S.
No Ethernet connection is made by both boards.
Any help  would be greatly appreciated.
