Opi PC Plus emmc issues

Can someone please explain how to get any OS onto the emmc inside the Opi PC Plus.

I have tried all of the vague instructions i can find and nothing works.
It seems the Opi PC Plus emmc comes preinstalled with a useless version of Android.

I have tried to run the script to copy RetrOrangePi over to the emmc. It goes through the whole process without any errors. I turn off the pi, remove SD card, reboot and it goes back into Android. I have tried running the script from terminal and het the same results.

I have also tried to run nand-sata-install from a fresh Armbian SD card and it doesn't detect the onboard emmc.

I can't even see the emmc running fdisk -l from terminal so I could reformat it and dd a fresh image directly to it.

Please help.

Try to burn image into SD card, replace into EMMC.
