@jacer don't make this guy mad!
Because I changed setting on these which they became me proposed on this forum.
All proposed of setting do not work.
First i try use only lg2240 and cable HDMI-DVI . I used own settings . Then i received from artefacts screen.
I later asked about men's help on this forum .
I do not change anything in files script.bin.I use files put on this forum exclusively .
Learn about resolutions.
http://www.howtogeek.com/132486/what-is-the-difference-between-1080p-and-1080i/
LG TV have resolution 1920x1080iequivalent real resolution 1366x768p (?) without interleave
I will taste to modifyto resolution of TV the script.bin .I did not try this yet.
Next problem this temperature board.
Diode d3 is VERY HOT !!See on electric scheme.
Thisis very important diode.
Why does diode D3 warm strongly ??
Because very large balance currents overflow !
You know what this it marks ?
Constructional bug !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you know for what diode is d3 ?
You know on what bug depends ??

My D3 goes not hot!
maybe you have a short somewhere.
are you shure your HDMI-cable is ok?
test all settings with your TV LG42LN575S via good HDMI - HDMI cable.
Make sure it is fully inserted and choose the right HDMI input port on your TV.
Do this "test" with both linux on sd and the android on the emmc.
I hope you have not received one of this @jeko boards, look at the picture posted by @jeko (first post)
Good luck

HDMI IS DEAD !
Problem :
HDMI IS NOT PROTECT ESD ! This is the just cause ofdamage the HDMI.
HDMI is demage !!!
The cause of damage the Orange the PIis the defective power supply .Power supply does not be separate . ATTENTION !!!!WARNING !!!!!5V not separate 230V !!!!!!!!
Am sure on 100%
Voltage Power suplay to GND ( PE )== 85V (ac) !!! VDC=0V.
Differential Voltage shield HDMI to board GND== 10V( AC )VDC=0V
Power supplyto orange PImust by have 5VDC and3000mA
My power supplyhave5 VDC and 85V AC( gnd board to gnd protective conductor PE) !!! Monitor TV have connect to protective conductor. SHIELDHDMI in TV or Monitor has connect to protective conductor. HDMI signal wire in monitor also connect to protective conductorthrough ESD protection component.
To measure voltage DC and AC .
If it HDMI does not work, measure voltage between orange pi(power supply)and Monitor (cable shield ) .If diferential voltage upper in 0,6V YOU BURN PORT INALLWINNER H3 .
My Orange PI plus is damaged.
I thank for help
ps .I buy Orange Pi plus with Power Supply.

Is the builtin Android working with HDMI?If no, you should contact the seller.
I tried with the stock Android that comes with the board and with the android from the official site, botting from SD card and it doesn't work. I always get the same error, ddc timeout error.... I contacted the seller but didn't get any usefull answers. It doesn't work with Lubuntu either.
The AV connector is working but the quality is not so good.
Without ESD elements (ESD15, ESD16) your HDMI lines are open. Is there any shorts??

You have to understand problem ESD. See on my pictures
I recommend EEBLOG
DAVE JONES explainsproblem .

On my Orange PI PC every esd part is missing (mostly for HDMI USB) and everything works well.
Look on the schema. Without ESD15 and ESD16 parts your HDMI lines are interrupted. HDMi signal must go thru esd parts.
Switch your multimeter to current (mA) range and we will see is there a real problem.
Well, 0524P pdf says there is NO internal connection!
http://www.semtech.com/images/datasheet/rclamp0522p_0524p.pdf
Check with the multimeter.
e.g. This is my cheap H3-OTT Box without ESD chips:
For now it works, but it will be better if there would be some protection.
My OPI plus has two 0524P ESD protection arrays.

Typical symptoms of damage: http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... aarzqoohayqmyqa.jpg
HDMI lines are NOT interrupted.
Damage proceeds !!!!
Monitor is black now ! there are no artefacts even.
HDMI be damaged by ESD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How many you want proofs yet ?
