I just got my first orange pi one, so i am a total begginer at orange pi's, i formatted sd card, unziped the armbian buster package and burned it using win32 disk imager, so i turned on orange pi and a green led lit up and the led's on the ethernet port blinked and then stopped blinking and then just stopped atLoading, please wait...
starting version 241
so i left it like there for 10minutes and nothing happened and the cpu got hot, so any help on what should i do?

or
Orange pi One Plus

Which image exactly? Depending on your SD cards size and speed this behavior could be normal for the first start.
At the first boot Armbian will extend its file system across the whole SD card which could take a while depending on things mentioned above. Sory for not replying i didn't check the forum for some time, i am using the image for orange pi so the first link and i am using a 16gb sd card that has write speed around 20 mbps, so i should just leave the orange pi for some time to load the OS? Okay, with a 16GB sd card it should not take ten minutes to boot up.
As Igor stated are you sure you have the correct image for your board? The naming of the OrangePi boards can be confusing for beginner as for example there is an OrangePi One and an OrangePi One Plus which are completely different.
Please also try using Balena Etcher as recommended tool to write an Armbian image on a sd card. You can find the tool here, portable version available too: https://www.balena.io/etcher/ I'm pretty sure it's an orange pi one, gonna try burning the image on the sd card again with balena etcher, gonna reply if it worked in approx. 5 days because currently i'm not home
This is the board i bought:
Yep, if the picture and text matches, than you own an OrangePi One. Good. I formatted the sd card and burned the image using balena etcher and now it works, thanks, just one more question, what are the three pins close to the ethernet port used for? Now i am having problem with installing other os's, like arch linux, i decompress it using 7-zip and then burn the image using balena etcher on the sd card which i formatted before and then a red led turns on the orange pi and nothings happened, any solutions?

These are connectors for UART debug console. You can get an USB UART adapter to do debugging of your board using a serial console tool like PuTTY.
They are dirt cheap and with one of these tools you can also track down the issues you have with installing other OS.
